What are Sponsorships? And How do they work?
Sponsorships are partial payments of the cost of a DNA test provided by Perry DNA Project Sponsorship Committee. The Y-chromosome 25-marker surname test costs $169 and the 37-marker surname test costs $219.
How to Sponsor a DNA Study Participant
Do you have an interest in Perry genealogy? Would you like to help with the Perry DNA Project, but can't participate directly because you don't meet the criteria of being a male Perry? Do you have a relative who would like to participate but can't pay for all or some of the cost?
One way to help is by contributing to the Perry DNA Study's general fund.
Family Tree DNA has arranged a convenient way for interested researchers to pay for some or all of a participant's test. Just go to their sponsorship page and read the details. You can pay by check, credit card or PayPal.
Important: If you make a contribution, you must specify that it's for the Perry study. There's a way to do that on each of the payment forms.
All contributions will be placed in the general fund for the Perry DNA Study. Unless you indicate otherwise, your contribution will be used for any participant expressing a need. So please specify if you want the funds applied to a particular participant.
